It’s very important to us that our website is easy to use, understand, and to access.

To make our website as accessible as possible, in line with WCAG 2.1, we’ve taken the steps below.
 

Perceivable

• We’ve placed alt text with content that isn’t text

• The content of the website is ordered logically

• We’ve avoided the use of colour alone to explain something or to differentiate between things

• Designed with easy-to-read text colours and page backgrounds in mind

• Ensured that the website is responsive: for instance, it changes orientation and fits the new orientation were you to turn your phone on its side
   

Operable

• Content that moves can be stopped, paused and played

• The website is organised so that people can move through it in a way that makes sense

• When we use links, we’re clear about where they will take someone
   

Understandable

• We make it clear in which language the content is and notify if this changes

• We’ve worked hard to make sure the website is consistent and behaves in a predictable way

• Forms have clear fields to be filled
   

Robust

• We use HTML so that assistive technologies can interpret information quickly

• Important information or messages have been designed in a way that informs users of the existence and intent of the information or messages, and allow people to interact with them using assistive technologies
